Our Disney trips seem to have come full circle. The very first time we came to WDW as a family was in 2003 and we stayed at All Star Music. Gramma and Papa came with us that year so they could experience the magic with you. Gramma was so excited to stay in the "country" themed part of of the hotel, but it proved to be too far of a walk to the main entrance so we settled on the "calypso" buildings that year. This time we were back at All Star Music and were placed in the country buildings. Standing next to the gigantic cowboy boots we couldn't help but think of her and feel her spirit smiling down on us.

One Little Word

Scrapping has always been sort of therapy for me, an escape, a creative outlet. This year...it will help me heal. I'm sure you have heard about the "One Little Word" Challenge for the New Year. People have been doing this for years and I'm jumping on the bandwagon because I think if I have an album at the end of this year surrounding my OLW...it truly will help me "HEAL."

Obviously, this will be based on the loss of my parents in an effort to remember them, cherish our memories...but most of all start recovering from loss. Here is my first page for that album..."Missing You"

A page for my little guy...a few things I want him always to remember...



Journal reads: I know, even at 10 you have heard these things before, but they are things that you need to carry with your forever. Remember to always be kind. Lead by example. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Be still and listen. Just because something is true does not give you the right to say it. You will always need your Mother. Believe in yourself, just be yourself. What you give will return to you. You can achieve anything you set your mind to. You will always be loved.
